Riverhead Package with GoBananas

Visit this stunning Gastropub/Restaurant venue by the river in Riverhead. This venue is overlooking the river and has a large lawn area to enjoy. Multiple spaces where we can book in groups and Fridays and Saturdays around Xmas time there is the option of upgrading to a special Xmas package with live music etc. See upgrades below.  Located close to the Western motorway makes this place only 25 KMS away from Auckland CBD or 25 min in a car. After your meal why not go next door to the pub and enjoy a casual drink.  

Team Games to start with 

Fling it is all about teamwork and connecting together to fling your ball with your towel (one teammate on each corner) across the net towards the opposition. Sounds simple but there’s a lot to do in order to fling it successfully. You have to talk to each other, there has to be synchronicity and there must be a willingness to work as a unit. Heaps of fun with tons of laughter will follow helping people to let their guard down and be themselves within their team.

All equipment and professional facilitation to guide your team are supplied in a carnival atmosphere with fun stations.

Activities include:
· The Super-sized noughts and crosses Race
· No mistakes drill relay
· Katapult challenge
· The Golden Gumboot Challenge

Your meal at the restaurant

• Included in the package is a  3-course meal and DJ at the boathouse if it is a weekend booking in November and December. Xmas party special and is available for groups over 18 people. Shared space with other groups so lots of fun. Put your dancing shoes on and have a blast. 

Suggested time schedules

Option 1

Arrive at the venue at 9.45am

Activities to start at 10 am to 11.30am if you are 28 and over we need to start 30 min earlier.

Lunch served in the boat house afterwards from 11.45 am. 

Option 2

Arrive at venue 15.45

Activities to start at 4pm to 5.30pm. If your group is over 28 people we need to start 30 min earlier 

Lunch at the boat house at 5.45pm. 

These are the only times we can do in November and December. 

How to book

• Let us know of a couple of dates you can do and if you are after lunch or dinner time
• We would need a deposit of 50%

• Min 18 people to book package 
• Max 90 people at the boat house. 
• Groups bigger than 90 people we need to look at private hire.
